phdoc pls tell me where to put locale.xml (144Kb) and ru.xml (90Kb). I translated alot of stuff inside those two files but i don't know where should i put them in order to work.

Well alright, i'll mail you data.xml as well, i translated many things which was most important for me, still have to do like 90% of work, that file is huuuuge So all 3 files are mess since it needs a lot of work. That's why i didn't send them at first. Will update it every day and resend it if you wish.
I translated like castle units, buildings since i'm playing with castle and some other things. Sending you now all 3 files i'm going to work.

Вот моя часть перевода (переведена папка tips). Структуру файлов сохранил, но в некоторых местах пришлось из-за другого строения предложений в английском языке изменить немного вид предложений.
Ждем перевода квестов.
Что еще необходимо перевести?

Собственно, у меня пока есть только папка spells (от Noe-Ren), tree+index (от Armageddon) из помощи и вот еще tips (от DarkXenon).
Осталось остальное :о)

Особенно аккуратно нужно быть с ru.xml - я про разметку внутри. С xls файлом проще - можно копировать кусками из английской помощи с небольшими правками, но там немалый объем.

I have 2 problems currently. Translating skills names inside data.xml and param inside unit/spell txt files.
Screenshots would be the best way for explanation so here it is.
When i simple change name of any skill, for example Basic Luck, it looks like this:

<text><![CDATA[Увеличивает удачу героя на 1.]]></text>

to

<name><![CDATA[Basic Luck]]></name>
<text><![CDATA[Increases hero luck by 1.]]></text>

and ingame it looks like this:


About param problem, let's say i open units_level1.txt, and when i try to replace
__param::name::Атака__: <font color='#FFE794'>4</font><br />
to
__param::name::Аttack__: <font color='#FFE794'>4</font><br />

ingame it looks like this:


Weird, if i replace it to look like this
Аttack: <font color='#FFE794'>4</font><br />

everything looks fine, but ofc its wrong way.

So pls help me in both cases so i can continue my work

1. Dont modify data.xml directly. But fill "name_en" & "text_en" columns in .xls file from here and e-mail me.
2. Dont translate construction "__param::name::Атака__" etc anywhere. This is systems strings.

Great, then i spent so much time for nothing, my mistake
I'm translating units folder at the moment, after that i'll translate data.xml (at least names at first).

Here's translated locale.xls:)
I translated over 99% names and some of descriptions as well. Descriptions will be finished in second version.
I tried to follow heroes 3 terminology so some of the titles are not exactly translated but taken from heroes 3.
Pls put it inside game folder and send me file back after your correction so i can continue translating descriptions. But i will cover units folder now

PS. I put asterix * symbol under H column for titles which you may want to rename/add since i wasn't sure if it suits translated names.
